Some know Karl as that kid who was so easy to pick on in grade school. Others know him as consummate gentleman and true friend. Still others recount tales of his theatrical nature and endearing charm. Many will acknowledge his boundless imagination, limitless creativity, and unique intelligence. But no matter where he goes, Karl is always remembered. Karl is the Lord of the Jackdaws (a European crow) by right of birth, popular vote, and virtue of the fact that no one else wants or even knows about the job. Karl is a veteran actor of Raleigh Little Theatre and the North Carolina Renaissance Faire, to name a few. His hobbies include reading and writing fanfiction, Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, femslash of various types, swords, movies, etc. (the complete list is available in person). He is known for his sometimes cryptic shout outs, as well as his adaptations of the roles he plays, though that improvisational practice has been all but abandoned. The only remaining one is, “The 1930’s Criminologist.” On Halloween, 2008, Karl starred as his favorite Unconventional Conventionalist: Imogen Claire, the one with the opera glasses. In an effort to appear even more eccentric, Karl refers to himself as a Ground Level, Inexpensive, Miniscule Punk, even though this has earned him exasperated groans at the most. To those who actually read this, Karl offers his thanks for even the illusion of interest in his bio and hopes see you at Rocky.
